It provides insight into the areas currently used in ASP.NET. In addition to this, it presents the development of versions, functions and components of this technology. The second chapter deals with the properties and use of Web services. The instructions for creating simple Web services and services for complex mathematical operations follow. Its functions are used by the console clients and the clients with user interface. The third chapter focuses on the development of a fullWeb application for booking classrooms and laboratories. There is a procedure for creating a database, setting up the project and the use of technology for proper functioning of the applications. At the end of the chapter, using the application supplemented with the screenshots is presented to the user.
Record Linkage in Genealogical Data
Šorm, Jan ; Rozman, Jaroslav (referee) ; Zbořil, František (advisor)
The main aim of this thesis is to study genealogical data, to find out possible problems in their merging and to implement methods for this data merging. In this thesis, it will be studied the problem of classifying similar names into common classes. This problem will be studied mainly because people's names and surnames play the most important role in every registry entry. In this thesis, it will be analyzed several metrics for calculating the distance between two strings. In addition, several experiments will be done for these metrics to classify names into classes with as few errors as possible. Based on these results, experiments for record linkage will be performed.

Labour and value. Karl Marx in the light of Phenomenology of life
Jiskra, Martin ; Novotný, Karel (advisor) ; Benyovszky, Ladislav (referee) ; Karul, Róbert (referee)
The doctoral thesis examines the concepts of labour and value which we attempt to contain by means of phenomenological interpretation of alienation, brought forward by french philosopher Michel Henry in his two-part book about Marx, written in the 1970s. The challenge of such a project results naturally both from the extent and from fragmentary nature of Marx's own work. Our intention to understand Marx's thinking in the unity of its diversity is at first sight reflected in fact that we try to follow its evolution step by step from its early stages to the late phase, in other words from the problems of labour in terms of critic of the reality of alienation to the economic nature of evaluation of value. Nevertheless, we do have reason to hope that beyond this formalistic approach we would have found hidden, so to say profound sens, which should appear by devoloping different forms of the concept of alienation. By the examination of Marx's work we proceed from the assumption that the concept of alienation claims the role of inner bond that holds his whole work together, thus the methods of young and late Marx, in spite of particular changes, complement and support each other because, at the and of the day, they grow up from the same basis: the critic of the alienation of life as such. Class, Disparity and Conflict: in the history of socio-historical thinking and present
Kubová, Karolína ; Šubrt, Jiří (advisor) ; Šafr, Jiří (referee)
This thesis is a theoretical-historical attribute and focuses on the theory of classes and class conflict, on the genesis of the concept of class. The thesis will analyze the authors and directions-schools that have had an impact on the ideological founder of the concept Karl Marx and also how they developed their thinking. Marx nor any other author of the term "class, classes, class" never clearly defined. It is a historical and sociological perspective on the concept of "class", which is often defined differently, and still there is any clear definition, which would approve whole academic community. In modern societies, the term "class" is not used so often and has been replaced by the concept of social stratification. In recent years, the "classes" being discussed by worldwide experts, but the solution is still not found. Nevertheless, this work is optimistic and the author clearly advocates that the term "class" will not vanish from professional sociological discourse.
Russell's analysis of Peano Arithmetic
Jankovská, Lenka ; Holeček, Tomáš (advisor) ; Arazim, Pavel (referee)
The aim of this thesis is Russell's analysis of Peano arithmetic. This analysis was presented by Russell and A. N. Whitehead in the book Prin- cipia Mathematica and then in Russell's book Introduction to Mathema- tical Philosophy which provided this approach in a more accessible form. The thesis focuses on Russell's critique of original Peano axioms and his effort to use only logical definitions instead of axioms. Another goal of the thesis is Russell's theory of classes and substitution of classes by propositional functions. Furthermore, the type theory for propositional functions is introduced and explained. All is converted into present-day logical notation. Moreover, the non-standard models of Russell's Peano arithmetic are studied. Finally, there are two particular arithmetic exam- ples illustrating the purposes of the thesis. Key words Bertrand Russell, Peano Arithmetic, classes, propositional funkction
